On Pivot

Last night I went and saw Pivot do their post rock guitar and glitch thing at the Hopetoun. The band have spent the last while touring their own show as well as supporting bands like Sigur Ros, the Arctic Monkeys and Gary Numan, this was their last show before they head overseas.

The band were more rock than I expected, a good thing, nothing like a night of indulgent knob twiddling to put the fear of God into you. Have a crack at their Myspace page for good times. Head towards 'O Soundtrack My Heart' and 'Sweet Memory'.
