To the Persian Gulf I go

I have been trying to write this post for a couple of hours now... I really don't know what to say: In June 2006 I am headed over to the Persian Gulf to help start AIESEC in either Oman or Qatar. The team I will be working with looks very interesting, with the members coming from Egypt, Austria, the USA, Brazil and myself from Australia. This is a photo of Chris (USA), Gannat (Egypt) and Adriana (Brazil).

The team is comprised of:
MCP : Chris Gassman (January start)
Chris was on the Salaam Team (as well as a Salaam trainee) and the MC in Egypt last year. Chris is leading of the on the ground research expansion team and traveled to Bahrain, Oman and Qatar.

Sales Role : John Westgarth (June start)
John is currently the MC VP ICX and LC Development in AIESEC Australia.

People Role : Kristina Janjic (January start)
Kristina was MCP of AIESEC in Austria last year and is currently working externally from AIESEC. Austria won the UBS award last year (the most prestigious country award in AIESEC).

University Start Up : Gannat Akef
Gannat was a Salaam trainee this summer and is now working with her LC in AIESEC Egypt.

University start Up : Adrianna Maia
Adrianna is currently a trainee in Egypt and started up an LC in AIESEC Brazil where she was a member. Adrianna also assisted with the research phase of the start ups.

So there we have it... I'm headed to the Gulf.
